Tool slides - force-oriented fiber placement
Together with various scientific and manufacturing partners, this tool slide was developed for a well-known German tool manufacturer.
This is the first time that CFRP with TFP components has been used in the tool making sector, utilizing the RTM process. This resulted in the implementation of a bionic CFRP superstructure. As a result, the weight of the tool slide was reduced by approx. 50% compared to the conventional design.n
